At Notpla, I worked as the Product Designer for the Ooho project - Notpla’s edible and compostable solution to package liquid products; and the Innovation Lab project - an internal innovation platform designing bespoke plastic-free home compostable solutions for customer's packaging challenges.
My responsibilities covered a range of different activities in a highly interdisciplinary environment, involving daily collaboration with the other teams, from R&D to client projects and marketing.
Notpla Ooho
As the product designer in the Ooho team, I contributed to the development, testing, communication, and promotion of edible sachets for liquids and gels, with the goal of achieving waste-free hydration on the go. As the primary creative reference for this highly multidisciplinary team, my responsibilities encompassed the development of secondary packaging, as well as testing the product for shelf life, transport, and user experience. Additionally, I produced visual documentation, user journey maps, event videos, photography, and graphics to support the product’s communication, in close collaboration with the communication team.
I had the pleasure of being part of the team working on the project with Decathlon and Notpla for the development of edible and completely plastic-free energy gel sachets. I participated in the project from the early stages until the Gerardmer Triathlon 2023, the first public event where the gel pods were distributed to the athletes.

Notpla Innovation Lab
I played a foundational role in the development of the Notpla Innovation Lab, an innovative space where through collaboration between creativity and science, I worked to identify design opportunities at the intersection of Notpla materials, customer needs, manufacturing and scale-up requirements. As the primary designer on this project, I focused on understanding client needs and aligning them with Notpla’s technologies, conducting early-stage testing and prototyping for new formats and contents in collaboration with a number of international brands (details non-disclosable).
