My design practice combines product design and biodesign, with an interdisciplinary and system-thinking approach.
After graduating in Product Design at Politecnico di Milano, with an Erasmus at TU/Eindhoven, I wanted my practice to become aimed at designing for shifting our current patterns of consumption towards sustainable ways of living. This is what brought me to the biodesign world and the new Master program in Biodesign at Central Saint Martins UAL, from which I graduated in 2021. My work combines an experimental and research approach with my design background, within a circular and regenerative design framework, exploring how we can learn from nature and the biology of living systems and integrate this in the way we design. Throughout my academic career I extensively experienced working in a group as well as carrying on individual projects. Through the periods I lived abroad in Australia, the Netherlands, and the UK I had the chance to experience working in multicultural and interdisciplinary contexts, learning the value and challenges that come from it.
